What is the purpose of logging?

Logging records diagnostic information about the app and is used by our support team to diagnose issues.

How do I turn on logging?

Access the Settings page and scroll down to the "Logging" section:



Below is an explanation of each configurable setting that affects logging:

  • Enabled: turns the feature on or off. Enabling logging will slow down the app's performance so use it only when needed.
  • View Log File allows you to view the contents of the log.
  • Delete Log File: by tapping the button you can clear the contents.
  • E-Mail Log File: allows you to attach the log to an e-mail to the support team. If you make use of this feature please provide as much detail as possible in the body of the e-mail so we can best assist you.

Why do I get the alert Warning, logging is enabled?

This alert is meant to remind you that you have logging enabled. You can disable logging by tapping the "Disable" button or continue with logging enabled by tapping the "Continue" button.

Why do I get the alert Do you want to send the log to the support team?

This alert is meant to provide you with a shortcut to initiate the process of sending the log to the support team. If you decide not to send the log, tap the "Cancel" button or to continue with the process, tap the "Ok" button.
