I need to forward the report to someone who cannot open the csv file, are there any other options?

We now offer several formatted reports. This way you don't have to apply formatting whenever you want to print the report and the report can be view by anyone with a web browser. To view the currently available reports:
  1. Access the TMM Store.

  2. Scroll down to the "Single Items" section and tap on any of the rows that start with "Formatted Report #...".



  3. The "Info" page will then load which will provide you with details about to the report.



  4. You can also preview the report with your existing trips:



  5. When you are ready to purchase, tap the "Buy" button in the upper right corner of the screen.



  6. Then follow the In-App purchase instruction provided by Apple to complete the purchase.

  7. The next you email the report, the purchased report will also be attached.

How do I share and backup my trip data between multiple iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, or Macs?

This is how you backup and share trip data between multiple iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, or Macs:

  1. On the iPhone:
    From the main menu, tap "Share Data".



    On the iPad:
    From the Trips page, tap the "Menu" button then tap the "Share/Backup Data" button.

  2. Next on the Backup Export Options screen you have these options:


    • Classic Email: this option disables the share sheet and goes directly to email.
    • Filename: the name of the output file
  3. Next click the Continue


  4. Next, choose the option to share your trip data with:





    With AirDrop, you can wirelessly send and backup your trip data to a nearby iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.




    Or use e-mail to forward and backup your trip data.
  5. If you choose email then enter a email address that the devices you would like to share the data with can access then tap the "Send" button.


  6. On the other devices, open the email and tap the attachment, then tap the "Open in TMM" button.

  7. Track My Mileage will launch, then choose the merging option that meets your needs:

    • "Merge new and updated" will add any new trips and update any existing trips that have been modified
    • "Merge only new" will only add any new trips
    • "Replace everything" will overwrite all your current trips

    No matter what option you choose, your existing trips will be backup to your iPhone or iPad before merging. Read this post to learn how to restore your original trips


  8. Once the process is complete, the trips will reload.

How do I filter the trips?

  1. To cccess the "Filter" page:

    On the iPhone:

    From the main menu, tap "Trips" then from the "Trips" page, tap the "Filter" button.



    On the iPad:

    Tap the "Menu" button, then tap the "Filtering".



  2. Understand that the filter page is divided into the "Date Range" and "Columns" sections which combine to filter the trips.

    • The "Date Range" section allows you to filter using the recorded date/time column.

      You can provide a start and/or through date.



      Or

      You can choose a date range shortcut which will automatically calculate and display the start and through date based on the current date.



      NOTE: Editing the start and/or through date manually will disable the automatic calculation of the date range.

    • The "Columns" section allows you to filter by the origin, destination, vehicle, driver, mileage type, purpose, notes and/or status columns.



    • If you want to clear all existing filters, tap the "Show All" button on the "Filter" page:



      To clear just the start and through dates, tap the "Show All" row in the "Date Range" section.



      To clear the existing filter for a single column, tap that row then on the next page tap the "Show All" button.

How do I manage my list of drivers?

On the iPhone:

  • From the main menu, scroll down to the "Manage" section and tap "Manage Drivers".



  • Next the "Manage Drivers" page will then load the with a list of the existing drivers.



  • If you want to add a driver:

    1. Tap the "Add" button at the bottom.



    2. After entering the details, tap the "Save" button to commit your changes or tap the "Cancel" button to lose any changes. NOTE: The "Name" field is required!



  • If you want to update a driver:

    1. Tap the driver you want to update.



    2. The Update Driver page will then load with the details for that driver, after updating the details, tap the "Update" button to commit your changes or tap the "Cancel" button to lose any changes. NOTE: The "Name" field is required!



  • If you want to delete a driver:

    On devices running iOS 5.0 and newer:
    1. Tap the "Delete" button on the toolbar.



    2. Then tap the rows you want to delete or select all rows by tapping the select all button. To complete deleting the selected rows, tap the remove button. To cancel deleting, tap the cancel button.



    On devices running versions of iOS older than 5.0:
    1. Tap the "Delete" button on the toolbar.



    2. Then tap the button to the left of the driver you want to delete. Next tap "Delete" button.



    3. When you are finished deleting drivers tap the "Done" button at the bottom.

  • From the Trips page, tap the "Menu" button then tap the "Manage Drivers" button.
